Atlassian Cloud Prices Go Up 13 October 2026: The Bigger Your Estate, the Worse Your Rate
The increase itself is banded by organization size: roughly 7% under 5,000 seats, and 10% above it. That is the opposite of the volume discount a procurement lead expects, and it is the part nobody else is leading with.
The Seat Band Is the Finding
An annual Atlassian Cloud price increase is routine — Atlassian has raised list prices most years since 2023. What is new this cycle is that the increase scales against the size of your estate: organizations under 5,000 seats see roughly a 7% rise on Jira, Confluence and the Teamwork Collection; organizations over 5,000 seats see 10%. Enterprise plans land at 8% across those same products. The largest estates — the ones with the most configuration debt, the most Marketplace apps, and the least practical ability to move quickly — take the biggest percentage increase.
If you already have a quote in hand from before 13 October 2026, it is honored until it expires, per Elegance Group's reading of the change. That is worth confirming directly with your Atlassian partner or account team before you renew.
